DAVID S. FRYDMAN, ESQ.

David S. Frydman is the principal of Frydman LLC. He has been practicing complex business litigation in New York City for over thirty years. Mr. Frydman was a litigation associate and partner with several commercial law firms and formed his own firm in 2000. He enthusiastically engages in aggressive litigation and also is skilled in resolving complex disputes in direct negotiation, arbitration and mediation. With the use of technology, appropriate and supervised staffing and attention to expenses, Mr. Frydman and his firm provide effective and cost conscious legal services.

Mr. Frydman’s clients have included public corporations, private companies, partnerships, banks, investment funds, investors, broker dealers, entrepreneurs, bankers, business people and professionals. The firm’s clients are involved in various industries, including finance, construction, real estate development, manufacturing, technology and professional services. As a tenacious and successful litigator and business lawyer, Mr. Frydman has enjoyed relationships with referring attorneys and clients, in many instances for two decades or more.

Mr. Frydman routinely litigates with and against sophisticated litigation counsel in New York and acts as local counsel for law firms and clients across the country and overseas. He appears in the state court commercial parts, Federal District Court, and Bankruptcy Court, Surrogate’s Court, appellate courts, FINRA and various private arbitration and mediation forums.

In addition to providing litigation services, Mr. Frydman serves as a trusted advisor and outside general counsel and, on an as requested basis, provides or supervises corporate legal services such as leasing, drafting and negotiating various agreements and drafting and refining templates for business forms, such as quotations and service agreements.

Mr. Frydman is AV rated by Martindale Hubell, the highest peer review rating which is “a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.” Mr. Frydman has also been selected to the exclusive New York Super Lawyers list, a designation reserved for no more than 5% of New York attorneys. He was also selected as a New York Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigator, a selection of prominent attorneys that have litigated the fate of substantial businesses reserved for the top .5% of attorneys.

Mr. Frydman is a graduate of Rye Country Day School, Tufts University and Brooklyn Law School.

Mr. Frydman is admitted to practice in the New York and New Jersey State and Federal courts.
